Recommend a Friend - Terms and Conditions
Recommend a friend privacy policy for all scheme participants:
In order to take advantage of the Recommend a Friend scheme, participants must create an account on the Heidi website, and agree to the terms and conditions of the scheme and consent to the account being used in accordance with the privacy policy.
The account will be used to help participants track how much credit they have, and apply it to bookings. It will also help Heidi track how much credit participants have earned for friends or themselves, and to apply the credit to bookings made on the website or via the sales team.
Heidi will let the recommender know if a friend has booked after making a recommendation, and the new credit that they have earned as a result.
From time to time, Heidi may send participants useful information or further discounts about relevant ski holidays, as a result of them being logged into their account while browsing on the website.
Participants may leave the scheme and withdraw their consent at any time using the ‘opt out’ link in their account.
Terms and Conditions for the Recommender:
The offer is available to Heidi customers who have travelled with Heidi in the past, and who recommend their friends and / or families to travel with Heidi for the first time. (If you have travelled with us in the past, but were not the ‘lead booker’ please call us to take advantage of this offer).
Recommenders will receive a £50 Heidi credit for each booking they generate (no maximum); note that the credit is issued on a per booking basis (not per passenger).
The recommended person or people must use the unique link sent to them by the Heidi recommender when they book, in order to get their discount. Heidi will then apply a £50 per booking discount to the recommended person or people’s booking (conditions apply: see below) and within 24 hours of the booking being confirmed, register a £50 credit on the account of the recommender.
When a recommender books their next holiday with Heidi, they will be able to choose whether or not to apply any credit they have built up or save it for a later booking.
When booking a holiday on deposit, the customer will need to pay for the deposit in cash. The credit is applied only to the remaining balance, reducing the customer’s final balance amount. If you have credit left over after paying this balance, this will be retained on your account for your next booking (unless the credit expires).
There is no maximum amount of credit you can use on a booking, but it can only be used for up to 70% of the holiday price. The customer will need to pay at least 30% of the holiday price in cash.
Credits are valid for bookings made within one year of the issue date, although travel can be later.
Credits can only be redeemed against new bookings; they cannot be redeemed against the balance on existing bookings.
Credits may not be exchanged for cash and are non-transferrable.
Credits can often be used in conjunction with other offers but not all. These will be detailed in the terms of other offers.
Staff, agents and affiliates of Heidi are not eligible for this offer.
Heidi reserves the right to cancel credits should the recommended person / people cancel their booking.
Heidi reserves the right to refuse to issue and withdraw credits should the Recommend a Friend offer be misused.
The credit will be issued in the same currency as the referred customer’s booking, using current exchange rates.
There is no end date for this offer but Heidi reserves the right to withdraw it at any time; should the offer be withdrawn, credits already issued will remain valid.
Recommend a Friend credits are only available on bookings made directly with Heidi.
If you use your credit to make a booking, and later cancel, you will not be refunded the credit. If Heidi cancels your booking, the cash portion will be refunded as cash, the credit portion will be refunded as credit.
Individuals are not permitted to refer themselves. If you do so, you will be disqualified from the Recommend a Friend scheme and be unable to recommend friends or gain credit on future holidays with Heidi.
Terms and Conditions for Recommended customers:
The £50 per booking discount is available to new customers booking with Heidi for the first time, having been recommended by an existing customer. We regret the offer cannot be applied retrospectively to existing bookings.
Recommended customers must use the Recommend A Friend link sent to them by the Heidi customer ‘recommender’ when they book. Heidi will then apply a £50 per booking to the recommended person or people’s first booking.
You can only use one Recommend a friend discount per booking.
The offer is applicable on any Heidi trip, subject to availability.
