Best time to ski in Pas de la Casa

If you’re after a budget Pas de la Casa ski holiday, book your trip in early December – the first snow of the season will be beginning to fall, and the slopes will be quieter. Like to party? The apres bars will be in full swing in March and April – enjoy beers on the slopes under bluebird skies, or head into town for a pint of Guinness in one of the Irish pubs. St Patrick’s Day (March 17th) is another excuse – if one were needed – to go large.

Snow conditions in Pas de la Casa

For the best chance of fluffy pistes, aim for a ski holiday in Pas de la Casa at the end of January and February – the colder temperatures also mean the snow-making machines work better if the snow gods don’t deliver. But remember, it’s peak season around February half term, so that will push prices up. Temperatures start to rise in March and April, but with runs as high as 2,640 metres, you’ll likely find fresh snow high up.
