Despite its size, the Serfaus - Fiss - Ladis ski area remains relatively untouched by British tourists and large tour operators. Most of the lifts are fast gondolas and quick, high-capacity chairlifts, which serve a varied network of runs over 200km of slopes. Ladis is the smallest of the towns in this valley.
As the town sits lower in the valley, it remains a working farming town and exudes the charm and Austrian traditions that some of the larger, purpose-built resorts are missing.
