Between the Kitzbühel Alps and the National Park Hohe Tauern you’ll find the Wildkogel ski resort. Along with Neukirchen and Bramberg you have 75km of pistes at your ski tips. Fun fact: the resort has one of the highest solar power plants in Europe. There’s a good spread of beginner and intermediate runs so all the family will be entertained.
But expert skiers haven’t been forgotten. The Pfeifferköpfl downhill run has a drop of 340 metres in the space of just one kilometre and a gradient of 34% – it’s the ski area's toughest descent! Or try number 14, the amazing 14km descent down to the valley at Bramberg to find your groove. And for the thrill-seekers, check out the world’s longest floodlit toboggan run. A whopping 14km ride drops 1300 meters from the Wildkogel all the way to Bramberg and take 30 to 50 minutes to complete.
