Despite its size, the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area remains relatively untouched by British tourists and large tour operators. Most of the lifts are fast gondolas and quick, high-capacity chairlifts, which serve a varied network of runs over 200km of slopes.
Serfaus is the largest of the towns in this valley and is full of lively restaurants and bars, as well as excellent facilities for families. Serfaus exudes the charm and Austrian traditions that some of the larger, purpose-built resorts are missing.
