Say hola to the ski holiday with a Spanish twist. Formigal is situated in the Alto Aragón region of the Pyrenees, about 100 miles to the west of Andorra. It’s home to 143km of slopes, 85% of which are rated blue and red, so it’s ideal for families and intermediates. But with over 1,000m of vertical difference, it also has great freeride potential, lots of steep terrain and good off-piste.
The resort itself is purpose built with plenty of great value accommodation options. But there’s still plenty of character that shines through and a cuisine that blends Basque, Catalan, French and Spanish influences.
