Welcome to Davos Ski Resort

It may be famed for its international gathering of world leaders, but you don’t need a private jet to enjoy Davos.
Situated in the east of Switzerland, next to Klosters, Davos is home to six separate ski areas – three on the north side of the valley and three to the south. For those who like to ski somewhere different every day, it’s perfect. In total there are 300km of pistes to explore – the highest at 2,800m – with some fantastic long runs as well as lots of off-piste.
Davos itself is a bustling town with a varied après scene. Take your pick from piano bars to gourmet restaurants to nightclubs – or even a night at the theatre.
NEW TRAIN TRANSFER OPTION - you can now transfer by train from the airport, for a more environmentally friendly (and often cheaper) option. Win win!

Best time to ski in Davos

Davos enjoys a long season, which kicks off at the end of November and runs through to the end of April. The best snow cover is traditionally around January and February but December is a magical time to visit in the lead up to Christmas and New Year.
If you want to spot world leaders, come mid January. March onwards you can expect longer days and more sunshine – and because Davos has slopes facing every direction, you can spend all day chasing the sun.

Things to do in Davos

Davos originally gained popularity as a wellness resort and there’s still a rich heritage of health spas and saunas here. It’s also traditionally been a venue for ice sports such as speed skating and ice hockey, which is almost a religion over here.
There’s an ice rink in town where you can hire equipment. If you prefer your ice vertical, you can also arrange to go ice climbing with a guide. Physically the sport is incredibly demanding but the memories – good or bad – will stay with you forever!
After you’ve come down from the mountains you’ll find DJs and dancing at the slopeside Bolgen Plaza and Jatz Hut, and great restaurants, live music, and varied cultural events in town.
