Welcome to Grindelwald Ski Resort

Surrounded by jumbo snowy peaks, Switzerland’s Grindelwald ski resort is a scenic portal to the super fun Jungfrau Region. Start your day in glorious sunshine and warm up the legs on gentle runs down Mount First. Then, explore long tree-lined pistes following train tracks from Kleine Scheidegg on the other side of the valley.
Feeling the burn? Relax at the cosy Männlichen Mountain Guest House. The panoramic views of Mount Eiger are truly spellbinding. And once your enormous helping of potato Rösti has settled, enjoy fast-flowing runs back into the village and get ready for some lively après ski. Jägerbomb anyone?!
NEW TRAIN TRANSFER OPTION - you can now transfer by train from the airport, for a more environmentally friendly (and often cheaper) option. Win win!

Best time to ski in Grindelwald

Nestled amongst the peaks of Jungfrau, Mönch, and Eiger, Grindelwald gets good snow from December to mid-April. Earlybirds can make the most of the morning sunshine on the south-facing slopes. First tracks, here we come! While on the shady Kleine Scheidegg and Männlichen pistes, the snow tends to be better in the afternoon.
Jungfrau is a buzzing hive of activity in January when the FIS Ski World Cup arrives in nearby Wengen. Pros from all over the world race at high speed down the longest competition downhill run - the Lauberhorn. Prepare to be wowed!

Things to do in Grindelwald

Thrillseekers will love soaring over the pearly white slopes of Mount First - hurtle along the sky-high First Flieger zipline at up to 84 km/h, or fly head first across the snowy Sierra at supersonic speeds on the Eagle Glider. Woohoo!
If live music, good food, and delicious cocktails are more your thing, Grindelwald won’t disappoint. From elegant à la carte dining and chilled drinks in cosy hotel bars to hip DJs and pumping dancefloors, there’s loads going on and something for everyone in this bustling ski resort. What are you waiting for? Let’s go!
