What Lenzerheide lacks in après ski it more than makes up for in skiing. Thanks to a smart new cable car, Lenzerheide now makes up Switzerland’s second largest ski area alongside neighbouring Arosa. Together the two tot up a jumbo 225km of pistes. Beginners will love the Lenzerheide valley and the Kinderland Auarara – a quick bus from the centre of town. Intermediates will devour the cruisy terrain to the west of the village and the Arosa side. Advanced riders will find some good steep runs off the Stätzerhorn lift above Parpan, including the World Cup Downhill run. And off-pisters will love the area below the Weisshorn in Arosa. Non-skiers in the group, we haven’t forgotten you. You’ll be spoiled by a vast network of winter walking trails, as well as tobogganing routes, ice skating, and curling. Phew, that’s everyone covered right?
