Switzerland is a hugely popular place for skiing, and if the dramatic off piste slopes of Engelberg aren’t your thing or a bit too advanced, Verbier is a popular and accessible choice for mixed ability groups.
The slopes aren’t the only reason to visit though - Verbier is regarded as having the best après-ski in Switzerland, and arguably, the best in the entire Alps. We’re not sure whether to meet you on the slopes or at the bar…
Verbier is one of the most snowsure ski resorts in Switzerland, meaning you won’t need to be agonising over the weather forecast in the days before your trip! This is thanks to the altitude, which is over 1,500 metres and ensures a good covering throughout the season.
The usual ski season for Verbier runs from the latter stages of November until late April, although be sure to check in advance for the exact dates that the various lifts will be operating, as there can be some differences. With a great après-ski throughout the season, you can’t really go wrong with a trip to Verbier anytime.
