Best time to ski in St Christoph

Thanks to its high altitude, St Christoph has a good track record for snow throughout the season. But mid to late January tends to get the most fresh powder days. Bring it on! The Alrberg region is one of the snowiest places in the Alps, and on lighter days, can switch on the snow cannons across 73% of its slopes. February is blessed with epic bluebird days. And you can snap up a good deal during the early and late season weeks. The holidays are generally quiet in St Christoph, so if a peaceful yuletide is your cup of tea, this is the place to be.

Things to do in St Christoph

Unlike its neighbour, St Anton, St Christoph is no party town. Instead, think cosy alpine bars and restaurants with fine dining and delicious aperitifs. Sip champagne on the sun terrace at Hospiz-Alm - renowned for haute cuisine and sophisticated ski lodge ambience - and choose a fine bottle of wine from its famous 600-year-old cellar to enjoy with dinner.
