We are delighted to announce that our new charity partner is the amazing Snow Camp. Since 2003, Snow Camp have been harnessing the power of skiing & snowboarding to break down barriers, broaden horizons and and create lasting positive change for underprivileged young people across the UK. Our aim is help them raise thousands.
From November 1st 2023 onwards, Heidi will donate 50p for every passenger to Snow Camp. In a few months those 50 pences will soon amount to thousands of pounds for the charity. It’s just the start of a multi-year partnership with real and direct social impact at its heart…
So how did the partnership come about? Heidi Co Founder Alexander Blunt explains:
“Heidi’s mission is to make it easy for more and more people to discover the power of the mountains. So when we were looking for a partner to take our impact to the next level, we knew Snow Camp was the perfect fit. We are really proud of what the partnership will help Snow Camp achieve’"
Since 2003, this game-changing charity has broken down barriers, broadened horizons and developed life-skills, qualifications and career opportunities for over 19,500 underprivileged young people all across the country. How? By delivering an award-winning and fully accredited year-long journey of programmes delivered at indoor and artificial slopes in London, the Midlands, the North-West and Scotland, culminating in a life-changing week in the mountains.
Now, in the charity's 20th anniversary year, and another 1000 young people due to be impacted by the end of this winter season, their ambitions have never been higher to positively impact thousands more inner-city young people over the coming two decades and beyond. We’re behind them all the way!
Dan Keeley, Community & Partnerships Manager at Snow Camp, said: “This is what it’s all about; partnering with leading snowsports brands who truly ‘get’ the power of the mountains to change lives for the better, and who know full well that a little hand-holding along the way is so often needed. Simply put, we couldn’t do what we do without the support of the UK snowsports industry and community. ‘Pride for having Heidi with us on the journey’ is the understatement of the season – a huge thank you to everyone involved and bring on all that’s to come together over the coming years.”
