Welcome to Les Gets Ski Resort

Most people who come to Les Gets will get the massive 600km Portes du Soleil lift pass, but even on its own, it’s home to 120km of mostly tree-lined slopes. The majority are in the easy to intermediate range and the forests have the added bonus of providing better visibility on whiteout days.
For the more ambitious, it's possible to explore Avoriaz, Morzine and Châtel, and even hop over the border into Switzerland for the day – just be sure you make it back. You won’t want to miss the rustic charms and traditional Savoie cuisine on offer in Les Gets.

Best time to ski in Les Gets

The season runs from mid-December through to mid April, but it’s worth bearing in mind that Les Gets is not as high as some other resorts, so picking a time when the snow is at it’s best ‘usually’ means January and February. But there are always exceptions to the rule and it can be great in December and March too.
If you’re thinking of Christmas and New Year, Les Gets is a great family resort. Thanks to new snow-making equipment the pistes are able to stay open until mid April.

Things to do in Les Gets

Away from the slopes there are plenty of ways to actively enjoy the fresh environment and beautiful scenery. One of them is cani-cross, the sport of running or hiking with huskies. You can also try cross-country skiing, ice skating and ski-touring, which is for those who want to hike up the mountain and then ski back down.
In resort there are a few gyms, a swimming pool and bowling alley. (Remember if you swim in France, they won’t let you in with baggy trunks.)
As far as après goes, Let Gets is generally a pretty chilled place, but several bars stay open until 2am and Igloo, the only nightclub, keeps the music thumping until 6am.
