Best time to ski in Les Menuires

No matter when you go, a Les Menuires ski holiday is a blast. There can be pinch points on some lifts with queues forming in peak periods such as New Year and February half term, but Les Tois Vallees is so large even big crowds soon spread out, leaving you free to cruise well-groomed slopes. Top tip - make the most of the sun on the Masse slopes in the morning and swap to Mont de la Chambre in the afternoon.

The ski season in Les Menuires runs from early December through to the end of April, with some of the heaviest dumps of snow in early March. Andorra’s ski area offers some of the highest skiing in the Alps, with slopes up to 3,230m, so whether you book a Les Menuires ski holiday early or late season, there’ll always be a good covering of the white stuff.

Restaurants in Les Menuires

L’Etoile - For a slopeside pitstop with top-notch homemade food, an excellent wine selection and jaw-dropping views of snow-dusted mountain peaks, L’Etoile is hard to beat.
Au Petit Rendez-Vous - Soak up the rays on a sunny mountain terrace while enjoying superb French food at prices that won’t break the bank. This is the perfect spot for meeting non-skiers on the mountain, too.
L’Alpin - The warm welcome you get at L’Alpin is just one of the reasons this steakhouse is so popular. Another is the first-rate juicy steaks, tender ribs, and picture-perfect cocktails.
La Fromagerie des Belleville - Hands down the best restaurant for fondue and raclette in les Menuires. This place is teeny, though, so make sure you book ahead if you don’t want to miss out.

Nightlife & Apres in Les Menuires

As far as après goes, Les Menuires is considered a bit quieter than its more raucous neighbours but there’s still an abundance of pubs, cocktail bars, and discos to party the night away.
Caves de Belleville - Kick off your apres antics in Les Menuries in Caves de Belleville. This cosy hideout has a superb wine list and tasty tapas.
Bar le Challenge - Ready to dance? Head to this legendary apres bar for the best live music and late-night drinking in town.
Moose Bar - A popular haunt amongst the locals and seasonnaires, enjoy beers and table games after a big day on the slopes.
Le Skilt - For fun alfresco apres vibes with live music, make a beeline for this lively bar right by the main Les Menuires gondola station.
