Welcome to Engelberg Ski Resort

Combine a jaw-dropping 2,000m of vertical descent with Swiss engineering efficiency and an historic 12th century village and you have the resort of Engelberg Titlis.
Its lift system boasts the world’s first revolving cable car, which takes you from the middle station to the top of Titlis in just five minutes. The descent from the top is an epic thigh-busting ride, but to take full advantage of the terrain on offer, it helps to be a confident skier or boarder.
The off-piste potential and freeride terrain is limitless, but there are some beginner friendly areas lower down too. When your thighs can take it no more, take your pick from 16 mountain restaurants to recharge and soak up the epic views.
NEW TRAIN TRANSFER OPTION - you can now transfer by train from the airport, for a more environmentally friendly (and often cheaper) option. Win win!

Best time to ski in Engelberg

With an average of over 220 skiing days, Engelberg offers the longest continuous winter skiing season in Switzerland. Thanks to its geographically favourable location and unique microclimate – it’s a gatekeeper to the Bernese Oberland and first in line whenever the snow rolls in – abundant snow is guaranteed every year.
There’s pisted skiing from October all the way through to May but only the highest pistes will be open at the tail ends of the season. For full resort access, book between December and the end of April.

Things to do in Engelberg

The summit peak of Klein Titlis is a hugely popular tourist attraction among Bollywood fans. It’s worth a visit just for the epic views across the Oberland mountains. It’s also home to the TITLIS Cliffwalk, Europe’s highest suspension bridge as well as a glacier cave.
Other sports you can enjoy in the area include snowshoe tours, cross-country skiing, sledding, paragliding, ice skating and skidoo driving. In the village there’s a sports park with a climbing wall and a swimming pool.
If that all sounds too active, take a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride, relax in a spa or eat out at one of dozens of great restaurants.
