Unlike its high-energy neighbour (Mayrhofen), the ski resort of Finkenberg provides access to the same incredible ski area, in a quaint and traditional package. Nestled in the sun-drenched Zillertal Valley, a Finkenberg ski holiday gives you mile after mile of pisted paradise.
With bucket loads of cruisy blues, beginners will find themselves at home with relaxed terrain. But for those looking for hair-raising conditions, intermediates and advanced skiers will love the challenge of the numerous reds and blacks on offer. If you’re REALLY up for it, why not tackle the 78% gradient of the 'Harakiri' piste!
But if 142 km of pistes isn’t enough for you, simply jump on the 30-minute glacier bus to access Hintertux glacier’s 3,200m of high-altitude skiing. And when it's time to put your feet up and relax for the evening, kick back with a warm gluhwein at the local hotels or choose from the plentitude of options on offer in Mayrhofen (only a ten-minute bus ride away!).
