Welcome to Alpe d'Huez Ski Resort

  • Vast high-altitude ski area
  • Good for all skiing abilities and families
  • Lively après scene
Alpe d’Huez, France, is a large classic ski resort with heaps of slopes for all abilities and a fun après ski scene.
High-altitude pistes climb up to 3,330m, and the slick lift system whisks you up the mountain in no time so you can shred the huge Alpe d’Huez ski area, aka the Grand Domaine. Home to five ski resorts and over 250km of pistes, there’s so much to explore. And if you love long descents, make a beeline for La Sarenne, a 16km run that drops 2000m from the very top of Pic Blanc all the way back to Alpe d’Huez.
With reams of cruisy runs, a snowpark and a boardercross zone, Alpe d’Huez ski resort is ideal for families, first-timers and boarders. There’s some serious big mountain skiing, too  – we’re talking powdery off-piste trails and raw untracked gullies – to keep thrill-seekers happy.
